Product: Simple Soothing Facial Toner.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

This product didn't really do much for my skin, but I guess it is "soothing" to some extent. Therefore, it might be a good product for those with sensitive skin, especially as it's 100% alcohol free. It is a good toner if you are one of them lucky people who don't suffer from acne or any other skin problems but if you do have skin problems, this product might not be much help.

Loving this song!
Their Mandarin is soooooo much better than mine! I should be ashamed of myself! :P
Ohhh and you might realise that I've changed my profile song. :) It's the Korean version of a Chinese song called "Zhi xiao hai you ni." And yes, it's by Super Junior M.
The Korean vibes are definitely getting stronger! ;)

FASHION FAUX PAS. Yes I know. What do you expect? I was working. ;)

TVB Drama: My Sister of Eternal Flower (花花世界花家姐).

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Yick Yick! Jui Jui! Loveeee these two! Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh are two of my favourite TVB actors/actresses! :) Oh, and may I add, I've actually seen Charmaine in person! I actually have her autograph but I've kind of lost it. OOPS.

Anyways, back to reviewing...I only watched this drama because these two were in it! I have to admit, the storyline isn't that great but it does have its interesting parts and the fact that Raymond and Charmaine are both in it certainly helps the ratings! Raymond Lam...*Drrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooooooooooolssssss* HAHA.
I also thought that the ending was kind of rushed, just like with other TVB dramas. :( TVB definitely need to consider making their endings slightly longer so that it doesn't seem like a one hour job. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed watching this drama.

Oh my, people are actually selling "Pig Pig Jui!" Someone get me one! ;)
Loving the theme song! It's sung by Raymond Lam! <3

Let's all be happy!

I am currently lying in my bed, in the dark, with my dearest laptop. I am absolutely shattered! It's been such a long day! And my dark circles just can't get any darker!! However, I just had the urge to come on here! Hehe! Seeing as I don't really have anything that I want to talk about in particular, I think I'll just do some ranting. :) I could have done another review which would have probably been more useful but I've pulled out all them USB cables so that I could move this thing to my room and therefore, I no longer have the pictures on my laptop. Never mind, I'll do one tomorrow...or maybe the day after...or the day after that...:P

So what have I been doing lately? WATCHING DRAMAS. I've been watching like a million things! TVB dramas...Taiwanese dramas...Korean dramas...just a bit of everything really.
Haha.
I'm watching City Hunter...Wax and Wane...Ghetto Justice...Romance Town...Love Keeps Going...Love You...Be Home For Dinner...Just a bit of everything. I've been spending that much time watching dramas that I've been completely missing out on the good old British television. :( I need to do some serious catching up! Need to get watching Peter Andre: The Next Chapter...Gossip Girl...Eastenders...CSI...the list goes on. ;)
Hehe.
I just loveeee my tv! aAnd my laptop! I like the fact that I can just be a couch potato and watch anything for the wholeeeeeee day and not get bored.
Yes, my life is boring.
And your problem is...? =P

As I've been at work all day, I've had a few problems here and there. Wwhyyyyy are customers soooooooo impatient for? Helllooooooo! It takes TIME to prepare your food. Yes, TIME. I'm pretty sure you lot have heard of the word TIME. ==" I seriously don't get why people are so impatient for. Just because you're hungry and the fact that you are has put you in a bad mood does not give you a reason to give us dirty looks whatsoever. No, it does not. Please wait like every other customer. I'd still make you wait even if you were the queen. *Shakes head* I just don't get people these days. I'm sorry but I'm pretty certain that you do not want your food raw so just stop asking, and your food will come out as soon as it's ready. *Big sigh*

Omgggg I've heard that we might be having another BBQ. What the...?! I've had wayyy too many lately! The number of spots/pimples that I own are telling me that I should stay away from all that heaty stuff. *Sighs* Someone please recommend some decent skincare products! Or food or whatever! Just something that can prevent my skin from breaking out! :( Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Pretty please.

Anyone else watching "Love You?" :D
I can't wait for these two to get together!! They make a perfect couple! <333333 Annnnddd may I say how HOTTTTT Joseph Chang issssss!!! :D :P :) *Sighs* I am soooooo tired, and my laptop is kind of dying so I shall leave it here for now. TTYL. :D

Product: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro-Exfoliant.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I actually managed to get through a whole bottle of this! However, that was only because I didn't want to waste it! Haha. In my opinion, it's a fairly good toner. After using it for a few days, I actually felt that it was doing something. It was good for getting rid off spots that had dried up but there would still be a slight scar on your face from where the spot was. It felt refreshing but at times, it did feel a bit too strong for my face and sometimes, my face would actually sting. This is definitely not a product for you if you have sensitive skin however if you have normal skin, it might just work for you.

This song brings back memories!
I'm not sure whether any of you lot have seen a Taiwanese drama called "Lavender"...but anyway, it's the theme song for it. It was the first Taiwanese drama that I had ever seen!
:)

Product: Royal 10 Piece Professional Cosmetic Brush Roll.

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I really didn't like this product. Yes, it was relatively cheap for a 10 piece brush roll but the quality was very poor. After using one of the brushes just twice, the brush had snapped, and yes, I was rather annoyed. Also, the bristles on the brush were definitely not as smooth as stated on the box. When it comes to make up brushes, you sometimes have to be more willing to invest in the more high end brands such as Mac and Bobbi Brown. I definitely won't be buying any more brushes from this brand again.

Stefanie should sooooo do a full version of this song! What do you guys think? ;)

I want to shop. And shop. And shop.

Oooooohhh just to let you all know, Selfridges are having a massive sale at the momenttttt...so yeah check it out peeps! :)
There's actually some pretty decent stuff on sale but you have to really look...:/

I saw this really nice PINKKKK Marc by Marc Jacobs Ipad case! Unfortunately, unlike some rich kids, I do not own one. :( Yes it's so UNFAIRRRRRRRRRR. I want one soooooooo bad but I'm just not rich enough to buy myself one. Poor Mei Mei. Haha.
Apparently, the ipad isn't all that and according to Dada, "it's for stupid people." :/ Nevertheless, I still want oneeeeeeeeeee. Someone get me an Ipad for my birthdayyyyy pleaseeeeee. Them gadgets look so cool! And handy! Especially for travelling! :P However, it definitely comes at a cost! Been to a few shops to look at the prices and all that but it's just too much...and my daddy doesn't love me enough to buy me one. *Cries*

Ohhh and I saw this really nice Chloe bag in Selfridges too! It comes in both black and grey! But omg even though it was on sale, it was like £800-900 odd. WHAT THE...?! Yes it was nice but I don't think I'd ever spend that much on a Chloe bag. :S
I also saw some Mulberry and Miu Miu purses. The black Miu Miu ones were simple but niceeeeeee. And guess how much they were! £100 odd! BARGAIN or what?! Nope, I didn't get one but I was soooooooooo tempted. I LOVE BARGAINSSSSSSSSSS. Especially when handbags and purses are involved. ;P Yes, I have a weakness for handbags and purses. Sorry, I'm a girl, just can't help myself...;)
Did any of you lot go to the sales? :)

OMGGGGG the weather in England is constantly changing. One minute it's raining, one minute it's boiling. JUST TYPICAL BRITISH WEATHER. :(
I need it to be cold so that I don't die from Hayfever. I want it to be coldddddddddddddddd. VERY COLDDDDDDDD. Or maybe someone can just take me on holiday to make things easier? ;)

Ohhhh and it's Xiao S's birthday today!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEE HSU!

I loveeeeeeeee this woman! She's amazing! I love her sense of style! I love her new hair cut! And of course, her PERSONALITY! I like how she's sooooooooooo daring when it comes to speaking her mind on telly but then there's a different side to her that the tv audience can relate to...the more down to earth Xiao S. She definitely deserves all the success that she has gained over the years!

Product: The Body Shop Rainforest Balance Shampoo (For Oily Hair).

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Personally, I didn't like the product as much as I thought I would have. My hair has been really oily these days and I was complaining about it on Twitter and a friend suggested this so I thought I'd give it a try. The Body Shop shampoos are slightly pricier than the average bottle of shampoo...however, if it does the job, who cares? I've actually used all of this up so I can actually give a proper review on this. Yes it stops your hair from getting oily...but not for long. Before I had used this shampoo my hair would probably last about a day before it started to get kind of greasy, and after using this, it lasted for a day...and a half. So it isn't really fair for me to say that it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. After like 2 weeks of using this shampoo, I started to notice that it was beginning to dry my hair out. My hair felt a little rough and I just didn't like what it was doing to it. I'm just glad that I've used the whole bottle. According to a friend, the shampoo and conditioner from this range smells like trees. Haha...but I strangely thought that it smelt nice. At first I couldn't smell anything but after a few days the smell seemed to have got stronger. Ohhh and one good thing about this product is that it contains NO silicones, NO sulphates, NO colourants and NO parabens. It has its pros and cons. :)

I just loveeeeeeeeee his version!
I first heard him sing it on Yu Le Bai Fen Bai and I was likeeeee O.O.
Hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

SMILEEEEE. :D

I'm literally dying here.

OHHHH MYYYY if you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I am currently dying from hayfever. Like literally. :( I feel like DEATH. None of the medication that I've been taking is working! Grrr! And I've tried everything. The nasal spray...the eyedrops...the tablets...drinking honey water...EVERYTHING...but nothing's working. I should be used to it by now seeing as I've had hayfever since like forever but still it's just sooooooooooo annoying and at the moment, I look as if I haven't slept for 10 days...no, actually, I look as if I've just had a massive cry. People are always like "Why are you crying" and I'm thinking "Errrr do you really think that I'd be crying in a public place? NOOOOO."My eyes are soooooooooooo itchy!! They're killing me. I haven't stopped rubbing them for the past few hours and it looks like I won't be stopping for the next few hours either. They're soooooooo red and sore. It really isn't good. This means that I will not be wearing make up for some time as it'll just make everything worse. ARRRGGHHH. What the...?! :@ Maybe I should get some kind of ice pack or something to cool them down. :( If anyone has any tips on avoiding hayfever, please tell me. :P And don't say something obvious like "go on holiday" because even someone as dumb as me knows that! :P *Blows nose* *Rubs eyes* :( *Sighs*

Spent the wholeeeeeeee weekend at work. I am sooooooooooooooooo tiredddddd!! Physically...and mentally...haven't slept well for the past week or so and I don't actually know why. :/ I just hope that my sleeping pattern will sort itself out so that I can get a good night's rest. I really do need it...especially when I'm dying from hayfever. I swear hayfever realllyyyyy tires you out. Thank god I'm done with uni though. There's nothing worse than having to study/revise when you're constantly blowing your nose and crying. Trust me, I know. I really do!

It's Sunday now, hopefully I'll be doing something more exciting in the morning/afternoon. *Fingers crossed* Well...that's if I get up early. Something tells me that I'll be getting up late again...:P Well what can you expect? It's Sunday now...kind of. :)

Excuse the dark circles! :( I'm actually trying to get rid off them now! :P

May I just say that Seiko made a very wise decision! :P HAHAA. And no I'm not being bias! ;)

TVB drama: 点解阿Sir系阿Sir (Yes Sir, No sir).

As a lot of you know, I'm just a little addicted to dramas! :P That includes TVB dramas! So here's a short review...;)

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Personally, I thought it was a pretty good drama! I just kept on wanting to watch more and more and more. In a way it isn't your typical TVB drama but in a way it is. You'll get what I mean when you watch it for yourself. I love how they hired some of the best TVB actors/actresses for this drama: Tavia, Moses, Ron and Linda! :) However, it is a shame how the ending was kind of rushed. In my opinion, the ending was too short and it would have been nice to see a couple to actually be together, properly. I soooo wanted Ron and Tavia to be together! Haha. I've always thought that them two make a lovely on screen couple! Nevertheless, it's a drama definitely worth watching and I'd definitely recommend it to those who haven't seen it.

Product: Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Loveeeee loveeeeee loveeeeeee this eyelash curler! Definitely the best I've ever tried! Normally, when I curl my eyelashes, they'll fall back down after like an hour but when I use my Shu Uemura eyelash curler they actually do stay curled. Obviously they'll be straight again after some time but you can always re-curl them, right? However, these eyelash curlers are really pricey but I definitely think that they're worth investing in. According to an RMK sales assistant, you can purchase these on Ebay at a ridiculous price so yeah, if you're interested, check them out on there. Apparently, she got hers for like £3 whereas the RRP is around £20. Shu Uemura sell these in gold too but there weren't any at the counter when I went. Oh well.

Ohhhh and one great tip for eyelash curling! Heat them up with a hairdryer and your eyelashes will definitely stay curled for much longer! I guess you could always opt for a heated eyelash curler but personally I don't like the idea of using one of them. However, heated eyelash curlers are suppose to give that natural effect...I guess it's all down to personal preferences.

I want to be SKINNNNNNYYYYY.

I HATE being FAT. I just hate it hate it hate it. People are constantly making comments about my weight and it reallyyyyyy annoys me. Yeah, I know I'm fat...there's no need to mention it...just because you're stick thin doesn't the rest of the world has to be too.

Obviously we call our mates names such as "Fatty" but we never mean it. There's a difference between taking the mick...and actually criticising someone for their weight.

I remember my auntie's husband calling me "dai jeck" which basically means that you're really big/fat in Chinese, in a restaurant! The whole family was there! How am I supposed to react to such comments? Laugh it off? :/ Haha I acted like a right baby and started getting teary. I don't actually know why I started crying. I had this "smile" stuck on my face and tried incredibly hard to laugh it off but then my eyes started watering and before I knew a tear fell down my face. I scared myself yet everyone else. I must have just been really tired from the jet lag/feeling really emotional. The fact that my aunties were calling my fat days before probably didn't help the situation either. It was funny how my uncle kept on trying to apologise but the damage was already done. I'll never ever forget those comments! NEVER. It's not that I'm not forgiving or anything but people should know that calling a girl fat is almost like calling her UGLY...Tell me, who wants to be called ugly? NO ONE.

I'm constantly told that I need to lose weight and all that. Errrrr easier said than done MATEEEEE. Last year, I went on holiday again, to visit the family and I decided to visit three of my aunties, on the same day, one after another. Guess what was the first thing that they all said to me...Well, it didn't take a genius to work that out did it...
"You've put on weight since last year."
"You've got...bigger."
Yeah thanks, really appreciate those comments.
Girls care A LOT about their appearance and after hearing such comments, I felt as if someone just stabbed me in the heart! I decided that I was going to go jogging as soon as I heard their comments. Those in Malaysia are so lucky! They don't even need to work as hard as we do to lose weight. You just sit there and you'll end up sweating like a pig. We have to proper workkkkk to sweat in the UK. That's probably why the Brits are bigger in size compared to the Malaysians. Haha.

Anyway, I definitely need to start watching what I eat and maybe I should do some kind of exercise...:/
I do not want to be called fat for the rest of my life.
FAT = UGLY.
Well in my dictionary it does.

I want to be SKINNNNNNYYY so that I can wear nice clothessssssss! :( *Sighs*

(All from ASOS!)

I better stop complaining and do something about my weight!! :( :( :(

Life is good. Life is bad.

I feel like a right pig these days! All I've been doing is eating, watching tv, going out and sleeping. Lazy or what?!
I seriously need to find something better to do with my time...yeah I am on my summer hols but I don't want to spend it doing absolutely nothing...I want to be productive...actually, I need to be.
Hmmmm what should I do this summer...Any ideas anyone? ;P
I guess I could go on holiday for a bit but where to? :S
Should I start having driving lessons? Hmmmm not sure. Seriously need to do some thinking.

Ooooohh I went barbecuing TWICE last week. :D Loveeeed it. Got to hang out with the fam for a bit and ate loads of good food. OM NOM NOM!!
And yessss I do love my food, hence why I've put on soooooooo much weight lately. It certainly doesn't help when you're a slouch potato and don't do any exercise whatsoever.
Anyways...here are some pictures! :D (Yessss we had lots of fun! Even though everyone was starting to die from hayfever!)

Isn't she adorable?! She should sooooo be a model when she's older!

Just a little windy...Haha.

Tres beau!!

Alice why are you ignoring Jeh Jeh? ^____^

My cousins! :)

I love these two to bits!

"Choc choc!"

Woahhh it's already been 9 years. I remember carrying him when he was toddler...Time flies...:')

We must appreciate those around us...both family and friends. :) Don't leave it until it's too late. There's no going back in life. Treasure their presence.

I've finally worked out how to use Facetime! :D Whoever created that function is an absolute genius. It makes everything so much more convenient. BRAVOOO!
Technology is constantly improving...you can never keep up with all this techy stuff. It's just "impossible."

Had a little get-together for Christine's birthday the other week too. :) Went to The Living Room for dinner, and then headed to the cinema to watch The Hangover Part 2 (I've already done a short review for it)! A must watch film! It's just too funny! According to a friend the first one's really good too. :D Must find it!

Not bad...just a little salty...

It definitely looked better than it tasted. Didn't really think much of it to be honest.

The birthday girl and Princess Shirley!

The birthday girl and myself. :)

Everyoneeeeeee!

Well well well, I'm going to leave it there for now...don't worry, there's more to come!
I'm just going to head to the fridge to grab myself some Bailey's ice-cream. I'm starving. ;P
Ciao...for now!

Yes I am a BBC (British Born Chinese)...SO WHAT?!

Right, I'm going to do some blogging whilst listening to this...;)

LeeHom all the way! Woop woop! <3333333

Since joining Weibo I've noticed how some of the people on there are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo rude/aggressive! Seriously they need to just chill! Don't get me wrong, I'm not sayiing that everyone on there is mean, there are nice people on there too. :)
I just updated my weibo like 10 minutes ago and I thought I'd do so in CHINESE...yes in Chinese...and I don't know, maybe the way I worded my sentence made it sound stupid/blunt but I knew what I meant and that's all that matters. :P This guy was like "Duhhhh you're talking crap" and I was like "Woahhhh just chill mate! No need to get so feisty!" What do you expect? I was born and brought up in an European country. You can't expect a BBC to be to write poems in Chinese!! That's like impossible! Oh well, I blocked him anyway soooo nerrrrrr.
A few weeks back some girl on Weibo started saying stuff to me too...I commented on LeeHom's picture and he mentioned some place in China that I had NEVER heard of and she was like are you Chinese and all that...and if you are, how can you not have heard of the place blah blah blah...HELLOOOOO, not every single Chinese person was born/lives in Mainland China! Stupid or what?! Does she know how many Chinese people there are on this planet?! Does she know how many Chinese people live outside of China?! GODDDDD, narrow minded or what. She probably thought I was dumb and all that but I'm pretty sure she's the dumb in this case!
There was this other guy as well and he was asking me where I was from and I was thinking to myself...why are you asking me when it TELLS YOU on my profile...><" But being the nice person that I am...HAHA...I answered his question out of politeness and told him I was from the UK...He had such a big reaction and thought I was lying! He was like "mo ack san ack guai!" Ngoh sin mo lei gom dack han ack lei! IDIOT. Want me to get my passport out fooooooool?! MO LIU. Seriously though, why are people so narrow minded for?

I've also noticed how people abroad only talk to you because you're a BBC...it's like helllooo there's more to someone than their nationality!
I'm not sure what it is but maybe they find it fascinating or whatever...
I guess we'd be fascinated too if we made friends with a French person in England but still...there's just no need to act like we're some kind of alien...
You're Chinese...I'm Chinese...there's not really much of a difference is there really?
Well apart from the fact that we were born/brought up in different countries...and own different accents...At the end of the day, we're of the same race and we're human beings just like everyone else!!

It isn't often that we bump into BBCs that can speak PERFECTTT Chinese...it really isn't. I'm sure there'll be times when BBCs have problems with trying to find the Chinese word for something and so we might say the odd thing in English...and NOOOO it isn't showing off! People get it sooooo wrong! It's just that our Chinese isn't fluent enough to say EVERYTHING in Chinese! Trust me...if we could, we would.
Also, sometimes it's just a matter of habits...For example, I might say OHHH MYYYY GODDDD whereas a Chinese kid who was brought up in a different country might say 我的天啊...Seriously, that isn't showing off...It's just that we've got used to saying such phrases!
Just because we're speaking in English doesn't mean that we are showing off.
It's just...HABITS.

According to a friend of mine, Chinese people from places such as Hong Kong look down on BBCs...WHY THOUGH? WHYYYYY? I seriously don't get it. Do you?
We're all equal.
Apparently, they look down on us because our Chinese ain't good and all that...><" What the...?! WHO CARES? I don't.

My mate was telling me how her cousins have friends who go to international schools in Hong Kong and are educated in English and they think that it's necessary to show off their English. LOL what the...?! That's just MO LIU. So whenever my friend goes back to Hong Kong, her cousins are always telling her to speak in English when her cousin's mates are there. HAHA. That kind of happened to me a few times too. My cousin was telling me how her mate said his English was amazing so she told me to speak to him deadddd fast in English. HAHA. ><" It's not like my English is much better than his. People tend to think that because you were brought up in the UK you'd know every single word in the Oxford dictionary but I'm sorry to disappoint but we really don't. It's just like you can't expect every single Chinese person in this world to speak perfect Chinese, right? :)

In countries such as Taiwan, they teach their kids to pronouce words in Chinese using that "ing ang on an" thing. We don't over here, hence why sometimes our pronounciations aren't always correct. Oh well, as long as the person you're speaking to understands what you're saying that's all that matters. Hehe!

I've also noticed how everyone loves taking the mick out of my Chinese! Personally it doesn't bother me. :) But it's one of the main reasons why I don't tend to speak in full Chinese...unless I really have to. So when I'm trying to get a point across to someone, you'll never hear me speaking in Chinese because we would actually be here for a year!! Time is precious! We need to save it! ;P

I'm not sure whether any other BBCs have this problem but when you're in England, people think that you're too Chinkified...when you're in Asia, people think that you're too Westernised...You can't please everyone. ><" Sometimes I think to myself...does it really matter that much? *Sighs* *Shakes head* Anyway, enough on this topic. :P I just wanted to get my point across initttt. Everyone has different accents. It doesn't matter if it's Chinese, French, English, Italian, Asian or what not...At the end of the day, we're all human beings and there's no need to be offensive or anything towards someone's nationality. :) Being a BBC doesn't make you better than anyone else. Being an ABC doesn't make you better than anyone else. Being a HKBC doesn't make you better than anyone else. REMEMBER THAT.

There's something that I want to say...

I'M PROUD TO BE BRITISH. I'M PROUD TO BE CHINESE.

PROUD AND LOUD.
