Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

I've used this for quite some time now! I don't usually wear eyeshadow but I still think that it's best to put some eyeshadow primer on before I apply mascara and eyeliner as I have very oily eyelids so my make up is always sliding of my face. This helps keep my eye make up in place which is great. Obviously as the day goes on, your mascara/eyeliner will smudge regardless of what you use so don't think that you're eye make up will look exactly the same as it did in the morning when you arrive home after a long day out. When you apply this, it does look kind of weird on your eyelid alone but it will slowly sink in. I love how it has a little brush and I think the packaging is adorable! I have the tube version of this which I bought first but I find the two slightly different even though it's supposed to be the exact same product which I find a little weird. I'm not sure if it's just me being strange but I actually prefer this version of the eyeshadow primer potion (which I got in a set with the eyeshadow palette).
If you haven't tried this yet, quick, head to your nearest Urban Decay counter! This stuff works!

Halo Eye Make-up Remover Pads.

I bought these for when I went travelling earlier this year as I did not fancy taking a whole bottle of eye-make up remover with me. I had never seen or heard of the brand Halo until I popped into Superdrug for some essentials. They were cheap so I thought why not give them a try.
I was extremely disappointed when I tried them out for the first time. It was literally like cotton pads soaked in water. I can see why they say that it's "gentle on your skin" but it certainly did not remove my waterproof mascara. No matter how many pads I used, my mascara and eyeliner just would not come off. I got so annoyed that I ended up having to use my cleansing oil to remove my eye make up which actually stung it a little. I ended up using the remaining pads to clean things! I will not be purchasing again.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray!

I've been using this for ages now! This stuff really does work! I barely powder my foundation anymore after buying this...and I have oily/combination skin. It lasts forever. Whenever I use this, I spray it across my t-zone first, and then I spray the rest of my face as if I was drawing a cross. I also spray a little on my neck as I always drag my foundation down to my neck. I've noticed that many girls neglect the neck area when applying foundation. This is a big no no. You need to at least pretend that the colour of your face and neck are the same! Many people rave about these kinds of makeup setting sprays, particularly the ones from Urban Decay and I can totally see why. My make up definitely lasts longer whenever I apply this. Obviously, my face still gets oily throughout the day and my make up might smudge in some areas (like around the eyes) but it's nothing unbearable. This product is totally worth buying.

Garnier Oil-Infused Nourishing Scrub!

I've noticed that Garnier has introduced quite a lot of "oil" products recently! I decided to give this a try as I was looking for a new body scrub! First of all, I fell in love with the scent. It is quite strong, but very pleasant. It smells like something that you would find in a spa or a posh hotel even. So according to the label, the product consists of argan, macadamia, almond and rose oils. I personally found this body scrub quite nourishing but not oily which is great! It does improve the appearance of the skin but like the other Garnier body scrub(s) out there, the beads are quite harsh. However, my skin doesn't seem to be irritated by this. I have also noticed that this scrub really does stick to your skin! So when using this, make sure you rinse it off thoroughly! All in all, a good drugstore body scrub! And I have already repurchased!

Molton Brown Purifying Grapeseed Anti-Oxidant Shower Gel.

I've always seen Molton Brown around in shops but I never really made the effort to check out their product ranges. I received this as a gift and I was excited to try it out. I was very pleased with the product. It has a pleasant aroma, and if I had to describe it in words, I would say that this shower gel smells like men, but in a good way! I did feel a difference in the texture of my skin after using this and so, I have decided to try out more of Molton Brown's products. Unfortunately, I have tried to purchase this again but no matter where I go, I just can't seem to find this particular one. As far as I am concerned, the brand must have stopped producing this shower gel. However there are many other types of body washes which they currently sell so I would definitely recommend checking them out. It is kind of luxurious for a shower gel but it makes having a shower a pleasant experience!

Bebe Poshe Bronzer.

This is a bronzing powder from an Asian make up brand, Bebe Poshe. The brand is well known in Asia, Taiwan in particular, as the founders of the brand are famous socialites. I really wanted to try out one of their products after seeing the brand being mentioned many times on the internet.

I personally think that the product is quite well suited for Asian (Chinese) people, who have more of a yellow skin tone. However, this does not mean that you can slather it on. You've still got to be quite cautious that you don't over do the contouring! Unfortunately the camera didn't pick up the colour too well on the last picture shown above. However, you can still tell that it's a lovely bronze colour from the palette in the third picture. This bronzing powder has a slight shimmer to it which is one of the downsides to the product. Don't worry though, it isn't too obvious! Before, I was always quite worried about buying bronzers as I think that it's quite difficult trying to find one that doesn't make you look orange or "muddy." I wasn't as worried about purchasing this one because after all, the brand is from Asia, so naturally, it should be a product that is aimed towards the Asian/Chinese market in general. I personally don't mind using this bronzer but I wouldn't rate it as the best one out there.

Have you tried any Bebe Poshe products?

Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick.

I think this was my first Bobbi Brown product...ever. I was looking for a concealer and I somehow came across this one. I got it in the shade 3.5 (warm beige) which is very close to my skin colour. I like how it is easy to work with because of its creamy consistency. It feels very smooth on the skin and doesn't leave you with dry patches. However, it isn't long lasting. I guess that is why it is referred to as a "touch up stick." I love how it's so small which makes it easy to carry around in your make up bag/handbag. I would use it all over my face, including any blemishes, and even on my under eye area, although it was suggested that it shouldn't be used on that area. It's okay to be rebellious every now and then. I did buy another stick after using this but somehow it has disappeared and I cannot seem to relocate it. Overall, it's a nice product as it doesn't feel too heavy on the skin but its lasting power can be a slight problem.

You can purchase the Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick here, at Debenhams!

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion.

Why is it that I always fall ill during the busiest periods of my life? Why? I really do have the world's worst immune system...ever. It's a sad story.

Anyway...let's get back to the topic...

Recently I've been using this body lotion. I have never used any of Aveeno's products until now. For its price, I'm quite impressed. I do feel that it has improved the texture of my skin and I like how it isn't strongly fragranced like many other body creams/lotions. It states that it is fragrance free but there is still a slight fragrance, but don't worry, you'll barely notice it! It definitely keeps the skin moisturised and overall is a good, affordable product.

Ooooh, New York!

May I just say how amazing New York is! It's such a beautiful city. There's so much to see, so much to buy. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for me to explore the city (being very ill did not help either)...and oh my, may I just say how crazily expensive it is to see a doctor in the States! It's absolutely crazy! I'm so grateful that we have our national health service, to SOME extent.

Anyway, here are a "few" pictures to explain how the trip was...

New York, wait for my return!
Haha.

RMK Ingenious Gel Eye liner (01 Black).

This was kind of an impulse buy. I always look forward to trying RMK's products. This very black gel eyeliner gives a fairly easy and smooth application. It has a lovely texture compared to some of the gel eyeliners I have previously tried.

Gel eyeliners are quite hard to work with initially, just like any other form of eyeliner. Even until today, I'm still no pro when it comes to drawing any sort of line/flick on my eyelids! They say practice makes perfect...I guess they meant A LOT of practice.

I have used this eyeliner a reasonable amount of times and I have noticed that it doesn't seem to stay that well in place, especially if I apply it on my waterline. If I'm careful and my make up hasn't been on my face for too long, I can get the product to stay on my eyelid pretty well but it smudges a lot in the corners of my eyes and on my lower lash line if I choose to apply any excess around the waterline which is very annoying. I personally have very oily eyelids and my eyes can be quite "teary" at times (especially during summer time) so this may be one of the reasons why I have problems with the product. It just isn't waterproof/smudge proof enough for me to like it. I enjoy using RMK's products and have done for many years, but this was sadly a let down for me. Although its staying power isn't great on my skin, it's definitely better than some of the eyeliners I've tried in the past!

Review: Lancome UV Expert GN-Shield BB Complete.

I bought this product a long time ago, when I went to Thailand, as make up brands tend to vary their product ranges from country to country, it was not available in the UK. As far as I was concerned, it was only for sale in Asia. I remember seeing some make up artist mentioning the product (or something very similar) when I was watching a TV show, so when I saw the product in the airport, I just had to buy it.

I have used the product quite a lot of times yet I still have a lot left, so you definitely get your money's worth. I like how there is such a high SPF (50 PA+++), however, I think that it is this factor that makes the skin look quite oily. I have oily/combination skin so I definitely do not need to look any more oilier than I already do.

This Lancome "BB cream" has a unique, but pleasant scent. However, when you've applied it to the entire face, you may notice that your skin looks rather white. No matter how long you rub it in for, your skin colour will still look a little strange initially. You need to give the product some time for it to sink in to the skin, for it to match your skin colour.

I would say that the coverage is okay. After all, it is a BB cream so if you're looking for something with high coverage, then this may not be for you. This is one of them products that you would choose to wear when you want to avoid using heavy foundations i.e. during summer.

I'm not quite sure why, but in the past, when I've used this on a frequent basis, I feel as if I break out more often than usual. Personally I was quite disappointed with the product as Lancome are well known for their good make up products. However, we must remember that everybody's skin is different so just because it doesn't work as well on my skin, doesn't mean that that'll be the case for everyone else.
